Anti (ἀντί) = instead of, in place of, against, substitute — not just against, REPLACEMENT
Christos (Χριστός) = Anointed One, Messiah
Antichrist = instead-of-Christ — teaching that replaces Christ's teaching with another checklist, another mediator, another requirement — Catholic merit + purgatory, IFB sinner's prayer formula, CoC water earns, SDA Sabbath seal, JW organization — all anti — instead of didache tou Christou.
